Howdy all.  I am a relative newbie to Four Square.  A not- practicing-out-of-convenience Catholic, I managed to wander in and out of Pastor Dan's Sunday services.  On very special days, my family joins me.

Like many people, I began last year with good intentions on God's Facebook.  Unfortunately, like a few other people, I didn't complete the assignment.  And, while I have no delusions of potentially completing it this year either, this time I'm making it more interesting.

Last Sunday, Pastor Dan inspired me to start listening to what God has to say instead of studying the rules and history.  Why hadn't I thought of it before!  Isn't it funny how the obvious can be so cleverly hidden?

So, on January 24th, I made the time to enjoy "A Snack".  The passage is from Exodus 9: 13-35.  Instead of opening the Bible, I pulled up The New American Bible (http://www.vatican.va/archive/ENG0839/_INDEX.HTM)  (Did I mention that I'm Catholic)?

The whole point of my sharing this with anyone that is interested is this:  I disected (for lack of better terms) the passage and wrote down my musings on what He could possibly telling me (and you, too).   Of course, these are my musings and may not be entirely accurate.

The bottom line: I'm wondering if it would be appropriate to post my interpretation(s) in hopes of building a discussion?  As you may have already figured out, I tend to be wordy.  But I have a great sense of humor and find hearing the perspective of others fascinating and insightful.  Especially if you agree with me :)

I don't know if this something to have in a chat room, as I typically don't have the opportunity to sit on line and chat.  I'll be interested to check back tomorrow and see if anyone is interested.  It's kinda like waiting for my Little Orphan Annie decoder ring to come in the mail.
